Made by the Anchor Distilling Company, which was founded in 1993. Junipero gin is flavoured with over 12 different botanicals which are redistilled in a small copper still. The botanicals include coriander, liquorice and juniper. This was awarded a Double Gold at the 2004 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
- Dominant: Pine and juniper needle
- Supporting: Citrus (lemon, orange zest), ginger, coriander, and sage
- Initial: Strong, high-alcohol, with leading flavors of juniper and ruby grapefruit
- Mid-palate: Coriander and liquorice become more prominent
- Finish: A long, spicy finish with a subtle earthy complexity
- Structure: Big, with juniper at the forefront, opening up to reveal its complexity in the finish
- Process: Made by hand using a small copper pot still in San Francisco, with a focus on juniper and citrus flavors
